The public health system is an essential service for the people. People’s health and well-being are important for improving their quality of life and social development. Developing a public health system that meets standards and covers people’s living areas is thus critical for human development, which leads to the country’s long-term development.

On August 29, 2022, Mr. Nares Maneethet, a medical expert and acting director of Nakhon Chai Si Hospital, received an Automated CPR machine from representatives of the Suthirat Yoovidhya Foundation to be used for the benefit of patients.

Automated CPR is a machine that aids in the automatic heart pumping and resuscitation procedures. This is equivalent to resuscitating outside patients (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or CPR. The working principle is to place the backing sheet beneath the patient’s body, assemble the machine tightly, and activate automatic heart pumping. This will allow the speed and weight of chest compressions to be appropriate for the patient’s needs.

CPR is essential for assisting people in emergencies, where the speed of each chest compression is crucial. As a result, the CPR or portable heart pump, the Lifeline ARM, was developed. It is reasonably priced and features a simple, portable design. Importantly, automation contributes to ensuring that CPR is effective at the depth and compression rate recommended by current AHA/ERC guidelines.
