Project to Support Rice Growers into Community Business Entrepreneurs

Last December 14-15, the Suthirat Foundation team visited the Khao Thip Chang Community Enterprise, Hang Chat District, Lampang Province, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Phumon Sukwong, a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University and Acharn Nanthawat Chaiyamongkol, Chairman of the Khao Thip Chang Community Enterprise Group, Hang Chat District, and the team jointly discussed to strengthen and follow the progress of the project to raise the level of community business entrepreneurs in rice cultivation according to the International Organic Standard (IFOAM), monitoring and evaluating the structure, standard certification period, standard use plan, which the Foundation has supported and pushed the group to be a knowledge model for farmers in the area of Lampang Province.
