Goal Together #10 project by the Suthirat Yoovidhya Foundation takes volunteers to join in the effort and learn about the importance of the sea and how important it is to our way of life through hands-on activities “Doing Fish Aggregating Device (Fads), Learning about the Blue Crab Bank”.
Begin the activity of learning about local fishing tools that come from the wisdom and invention of the villagers and are used to catch marine animals and are environmentally friendly tools, as well as making Fish Aggregating Device (Fads) activities with representatives of farmer groups providing information. Before taking action, volunteers learned about the significance of “FADs” to the ecosystem, as well as how the materials used to make it are long-lasting and beneficial to the marine environment. Mr. Chuea Khaeyai (Uncle Chuea), the group’s president, led the group to the blue crab bank, where volunteers saw 8 blue crab conservation ponds containing breeding blue swimming crabs donated by villagers. He explained how the conservation project began by driving work from going out to sea to releasing baby crabs into the sea. Throughout the education, volunteers shared knowledge, learned, and asked questions.

Activites
“Ting Sang” Volunteers board a boat and place the sang at the same coordinates they do every year, 3,000 meters from the coast. It is made up of cement buoys, bamboo, and coconut paths, with two FADs per boat, allowing students to learn the entire process from beginning to end.
“Lesson Learned” divide volunteers into 3 groups to brainstorm opinions on 3 topics:
1. What do you gain from conserving marine resources? How does it affect the community?
2. How does the Group’s adjustment to becoming a community business entrepreneur affect conservation work?
3. How important is an outside perspective on the Group and how can it help the area?
To share information from this lesson with the community in order to improve and develop the Group’s potential
